The servers run a custom coded version of Linux and Apache web server software, for the best in software performance and security. The network for Site5’s data center has self-healing redundancy, with a level seven OC-48 SONET ring connection providing 2.488 GB/s in bandwidth connected directly to the MCI/UUNET, Verio, and SAVVIS backbone networks.
